Chamber announces lobby shop promotions

Pete Lawson, Ron Eidshaug named VPs in Congressional and Public Affairs division; others also elevated. In a month that’s seen retrenchment with a rash of job cuts and planned industry association mergers, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has bucked the trend, announcing promotions as the business group gears up for the new Congress and administration. Pete Lawson and Ron Eidshaug were promoted Dec. 11 to vice presidency positions in the Congressional and Public Affairs division.
